At Fields Family Dental we are committed to ensuring the well-being of our patients and team members. We are aware of the seriousness of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). We are monitoring the communications from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the Maryland Department of Health (MDoH). We will keep you updated about any changes in our office schedule as new information emerges.

At Fields Family Dental, we practice strict Universal Standard safety precautions which are set forth by the CDC and American Dental Association (ADA) to ensure the safety of all patients and team members at our office. We strictly adhere to the CDC Guidelines of Infection Control in Dental Health-Care Settings.

As a pre-caution the CDC recommends the following in order to prevent the spread of infection:

  • Wash hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds

  • An alcohol-based hand sanitizer containing at least 60% alcohol can be used if soap and water are not available

  • Avoid touching eyes, nose, mouth with unwashed hands

  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick

  • Stay at home when feeling sick

  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash

  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces

  • MOST IMPORTANTLY, we ask that you reschedule your dental visit if you have been in contact with any persons with a diagnosed COVID19 virus, have a temperature greater than 100, sore throat, achy joints, headache, fatigue, weakness, stomach pain, severe cold symptoms, and/or have recently traveled by airline/cruise. If possible, please help us reduce risk by leaving other family members at home.

Fields Family Dental is taking extra precautions by wiping surfaces more frequently in all areas of the office as well as more frequent hand washing by all team members. We are open and is operating under our normal business hours. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns at 410-672-3501 or email FieldsFamilyDental@gmail.com
